Most f these services are available as part of you running an account with your bank, and because they have your full history, applying to your bank is normally easier than applying to another financial institution.

On the other hand, do you know what interest rates and free services your bank provides? Chances are you don’t know if they are competitive or not. In such situations, you should consider switching your banks, as most are fighting for new business, you just don’t know it!
